“ It was our first time at Pizzeria Bello Forno. We found them listed on the Seed Oil Scout app, and from now on, it is definitely going to be on the top of our list when eating out. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. The crust was amazing. We are looking forward to trying the rest of the items on their menu. We are working hard to improve our health and cutting seed oils (A.K.A. vegetable oils) out of our diet is the most important step and very difficult when going to a restaurant. It was a wonderful surprise to find a place that tastes so good and is working to cut seed oils from its ingredients. There are still a few items that do have seed oils, such as the aiolis and chips, but that is something they will be changing in the near future. Our server, Caleb, was very open, friendly, and, most importantly, knowledgeable regarding their ingredients. We are new to the NO seed oil lifestyle, and Caleb made us feel very comfortable asking questions about what options do not have seed oils. We are very excited to try their sister restaurant, Branch Street Deli and Pizzeria, in Arroyo Grande, where they fry in beef tallow and not seed oils (A.K.A. vegetable oils). ”

“ This is a fun place. Casual but still fine-dining-quality food. Pleasant, friendly staff. Lots of pizzas being eaten and taken out the door - real pizza oven, inventive selection plus favorites. Not many tables inside, but also a small bar, and outside seating. Recommended. ”
